    Belleville Concerts on the Bay

    West Zwicks Park 11 Bay Bridge Road, Belleville

    Join us this summer for great live music and entertainment on the waterfront at the Lion’s Pavilion in West Zwick’s Park on Wednesday and Sunday evenings - starting at 6:30pm in June and July, and 6:00pm in August.

    For more than 30 years, The Belleville Lions Club has hosted this annual concert series as one of its community service projects. And year after year, the Lions have been rewarded with the public’s overwhelming support at the concerts.

    Don’t forget to bring your lawn chair! The admission is free! And if you enjoy the program, we invite you to support the Belleville Lions Club with your donations which will support other services to our local community.

    Soo join us for our unplugged jam sessions led by our very own staff member River. Whether it’s a guitar, mandolin, cajon, ukelele, or other acoustic instrument players of all skill levels are welcome, or just come to listen and sing along!

    So how’s a jam different? – A “jam” is any music played without preparation beforehand. This might mean that the music is undefined, or simply that the running order and the musicians are.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
