    LIVE MUSIC: Jack McAvoy at Meyers Creek Brewing
    Jack McAvoy is a dynamic solo acoustic artist specializing in rock, alternative, and folk covers. Known for his performances of familiar favourites by The Tragically Hip, Neil Young, Tom Petty, and more. With a rich background, including leading with the Kingston-based alternative rock band Enrights that supported acts like Sam Roberts Band, Theory of a Deadman and The Trews, Jack brings big stage experience, stories and fun to small-town Ontario stages. He currently also plays lead guitar for the Belleville-based group, Cat Named Earl.

    Live Music: Tony Vani and Kenny Pauze

    UpFront Cafe - 313 Front Street, Belleville

    Join us at UpFront Cafe on August 16 from 2-4pm for Tony Vani and Kenny Pauzé, two highly seasoned musicians paired in this sizzling acoustic format for special appearances.

    Tony Vani, from Belleville, Ontario, a skilled harmonica player/vocalist has performed at the Frankford Blues Festival, The Kingston Blues Festival, The Belleville Downtown Blues Festival and in and around the Belleville area as a single act and as a group act for decades. He is also co-founder of the yearly Belleville Downtown Blues Festival.

    Kenny Pauze, a gifted Delta Blues and Folk guitarist from Elgin Quebec, has played in clubs and festivals including the Ottawa Folk festival and the International Tremblant Blues Festival. The music focuses on blues and folk styles yet covers a diverse range of styles from hot and feisty up-tempo boogies to down and dirty blues.

    Doors open: 10 am
    Music: 2:00 - 4:00 pm

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
