    We're welcoming local author Tanya M Cooper to our taproom for her 9th book release "The Ghost of Annie Minnes, Tales of the Royal Hotel & Prince Edward County" . Tanya will be hanging out with us to chat with folks about her new book and sign copies!

    Pickleball at Quinte Curling Club

    Quinte Curling Club 246 Bridge Street West, Belleville

    The 2025 Pickleball season at the Quinte Curling Club starts Monday, May 12. Sessions are open Monday Wednesday Friday mornings, 9:30 am - 11:30 am and Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6 pm - 8 pm. Drop in games are $9 each, including HST. For keen players, an unlimited play option is available for $200 including HST. The season will last 17 weeks excluding Statutory holidays. All participants are required to pay and sign a waiver before beginning play. There is no need to pre-register, just come to the club.

    Join us at the Quinte Arts Council Cultural Hub for "Bridging Communities: - a powerful and vibrant exhibition led by Belleville-based mixed media artist Emebet Belete. Known internationally for her captivating work and deeply respected for her ongoing commitment to arts advocacy and community engagement across Eastern Ontario, Belete brings her vision to life in this latest collaborative project.

    Bridging Communities features large-scale, weather-tested crochet installations created with the help of dozens of dedicated volunteers. Suspended from ceiling to floor, these colourful, textile-based works reflect not only artistic skill but also the strength of community connection.

    Exhibition runs May 9–29
    Experience the creativity and collaboration that has brought this unique project to life—everyone is welcome.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
