Join us on Saturday, December 9th from 10 am – 2 pm for our 3rd Annual Holiday Walk at Trillium Wood Golf Club. During our first two Holiday Walks, our expectations were exceeded with 500+ people joining us for the event. We were able to donate truckloads of food and monetary contributions to the Belleville Gleaners Food Bank.

Come out with your family and friends to enjoy the scenic walk with holiday music, a live performance from Derek Morris, a holiday photo shoot, games, complimentary hot beverages, snacks, and a chance to win prizes. There will be multiple walking paths available with varying distances.

There is no cost to this event, however, we ask you to bring a food item or a monetary donation that will go directly to the Belleville Gleaner’s Food Bank.

There is no need to register or sign up. Just come out and enjoy the day. During the event, Bosco restaurant will be open for food and drink.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities.

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
