Experience Holiday Magic in Downtown Belleville!

Get ready for two magical weekends filled with the spirit of the season! From workshops, performances, festive activities, and local eats, Downtown Belleville is your destination for holiday joy!

Grand Opening on December 1st: Join us as we light up the town and kickstart the celebrations! Be part of the enchantment that transforms Downtown Belleville into a holiday wonderland.

On Fridays (December 1st and 8th) you can experience the following activities in the downtown core:
Santa’s Workshop: Open from 3-7pm. At Loyalist Accelerate (249 Front St). Come experience the magic of Santa’s Workshop in the

Downtown District with a special appearance from Santa himself! Families and children are invited to take their own pictures with Santa, get ready to capture those priceless moments and memories that will last a lifetime.

For the little ones, a Kids’ Corner featuring colouring book stations will be set up. Children can unleash their creativity, immersing themselves in the holiday spirit and taking home their artistic masterpieces as treasured keepsakes.

Colouring books have been generously donated by Discover Belleville.

Adding to the festive atmosphere, Downtown Belleville is excited to introduce the Welcoming Streets Wrapping Station. Shoppers are encouraged to bring their items and receipts from any downtown business, and the wrapping station will take care of the gift wrapping, adding an extra touch of holiday magic to the shopping experience.

Enchanted Holiday Hop: Every Friday, all day, participating restaurants and cafes throughout downtown will serve their signature festive beverages, cocktails or mocktails!

Enjoy the day in the downtown with friends, family or someone special and check out what our talented restaurants and cafes have to offer! Or, join us for a fun night out with friends and savour these special holiday beverages!
Sizzling Santas and Elves (19+) While on your night out we will have special appearances of Sizzling Santas and Lady Elves roaming the downtown from 6-9 PM – perfect for selfies and adding to the festive cheer!

On Saturdays (December 2nd and 9th) in Market Square from 11:00a.m.-7:00p.m.:
Enchanting Carriage Rides: Glide through our beautifully adorned streets in enchanting carriage rides – a nostalgic experience perfect for creating unforgettable moments with loved ones.

Free Family Fun Workshops and Activities: Spark creativity with our series of free family workshops!
From ornament and wreath crafting to S’mores making, a chance to Magical Reindeer Food, and much more! Join in the festive fun and make delightful keepsakes together.

Starting December 1st:
Holiday Passport: Don’t miss out on a chance to win $1000! Pick up your Holiday Passport at a downtown business, support local merchants, and be entered to win big while discovering unique treasures in our charming downtown.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
