Belleville

Illustration of a city hall with clock tower

A lively, connected city where the outdoors and city life overlap.

Set along the Moira River and the shores of the Bay of Quinte, it’s a place where waterfront paths, parks, trails and open spaces make it easy to get outside and keep moving. Add a lively downtown, local food and drink, arts and culture, shopping, festivals and plenty happening throughout the year, and you’ve got a city with more going on than you might expect.

Just two hours east of Toronto and an easy drive from Kingston, Belleville makes an ideal home base for exploring the Bay of Quinte region—or a destination worth making the trip for on its own. Spend the morning on the water, wander downtown in the afternoon, then settle in somewhere good for dinner. Stay a little longer and there’s always another trail to follow, another event to catch or another corner of the city to discover.

And when you need a little more room to roam, Belleville puts the wider Bay of Quinte within easy reach. Bring the bikes, pack the paddle and leave some space in the day for wherever the road takes you.

Discover Belleville

There’s culture to discover, food worth seeking out, open space to play in and a calendar that keeps the city moving. However you like to spend your time, Belleville gives you plenty of ways to make a day of it.
