A paved waterfront trail runs around both East and West Zwick’s Park with various access points directly from the paved parking lots throughout the park.

Zwick’s Centennial Park boasts scenic picnic spaces. A close bike ride or walk from Belleville’s downtown makes enjoying a take-out picnic in the park even easier.

MOUNT PELION

Mount Pelion, also known as Trenton’s Mountain, is great for walking, hiking and biking. It also has an observation deck that offers a panoramic view of Quinte West.

Zwick’s Dog Park is a 3-acre, fenced-in dog park with a double-gated entrance for safety and separate spaces for small and large dogs.

KINSMEN COMMUNITY OUTDOOR POOL

Operated by the QSWC, the Kinsmen Pool is a 32m 6 lane outdoor pool heated to 78-80 and is open from the end of June to the beginning of September. Register your swim in advance to avoid disappointment.

PRESQU’ILE PROVINCIAL PARK

Presqu’ile Provincial Park offers barrier-free toilets, showers, offices and centres. The 800-meter marsh boardwalk is fully accessible, and the beach has an access mat present in the summer for beach to parking lot access.

SANDBANKS PROVINCIAL PARK

Three expansive sandy beaches to choose from offers options for all kinds of families with varying water levels. You have to check out the dunes beach to experience the world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation.

PRESQU’ILE PROVINCIAL PARK

Presqu’ile Provincial Park is home to 16 km of trails and paths and a 1-km marsh boardwalk trail. As a migration hotspot for 338 recorded bird species, we’re pretty sure that bird is the word.

Cricklewood Farm continues its corn maze tradition with not one but two separate mazes. There’s a 6-acre maze and a 1-acre mini-maze. So get lost already!

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
