As TripAdvisor introduces new opportunities for destination marketing – like customized content to complement the site’s traditional user-generated content – we’re working to put the region’s best foot forward and connect with travellers as they research their desired destinations. The stronger your business or attraction is on TripAdvisor, the more we can do to help get you noticed on the most trusted travel website in the world.
You may have noticed a new addition to posts on bayofquinte.ca/tourism lately – our site is now able to pull TripAdvisor listings related to any blog post published on the site. This means that if your business or attraction is featured in a blog, or is nearby or related to a business featured in the blog, it will now be more discoverable than ever – so long as it is listed on TripAdvisor.
This new listing feature also means that your TripAdvisor page could start to see more activity, meaning it’s more important than ever to keep your information up-to-date and to respond to reviews on a regular basis. That’s where our workshop series comes in: in partnership with Hastings County Economic Development and Visit The County (PEC), we’re hosting a series of workshops in communities throughout the Bay of Quinte region to offer hands-on help and advice for keeping your TripAdvisor listing relevant and seeing a return on your time investment.
Enroll in a FREE TripAdvisor Workshop in January + February 2017 (Please note that space is limited to ensure hands-on experience. If the demand exists more workshops will open up in each location.)
