Take A Drive: Stockdale Road

Ready to take a drive? We’ve come up with a few ideas to help you enjoy the wide-open spaces our region is known for. Hop in your car and and enjoy the slow, winding roads of the country, experience our natural attractions, meet local business owners and enjoy some great bites!

Stockdale Road

It may sound clichéd to talk about beautiful, rolling hills in the countryside, but once you drive it you’ll know what we mean! Be on the lookout for deer, cows and even the occasional turkey. (Yes, we know that’s a chicken.)

Dahlia May Flower Farm

This roadside farm stand has blossomed (wink, wink) over the years from a few pails on pallets to a full-grown, year-round business. Stop in and say hello to owner Melanie Harrington, grab some fresh-cut seasonal flowers and admire the colourful rows of blooms.

Batawa Ski Hill

Yes, we’re taking you to a ski hill in summer, but it’s not what you think. The trails at Batawa are open year round for hiking and biking, with varying levels of difficulty and some sweet vantage points. Did we mention you can also dig up dinosaurs?

99 Ski Club Lane, Batawa

Burger Revolution

Ready for a flavour revolution? Sink your teeth into an amazing burger made with locally-sourced ingredients. Loyal fans have menu favourites, but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. (And don’t forget to take a peek at their secret menu!)

34 Monogram Place, Quinte West
