Take A Drive: Frankford Road

Ready to take a drive? We’ve come up with a few ideas to help you enjoy the wide-open spaces our region is known for. Hop in your car and and enjoy the slow, winding roads of the country, experience our natural attractions, meet local business owners and enjoy some great bites along the way!

Frankford Road

There are lots of roadside attractions to enjoy as you make your way from Belleville to Quinte West, like Willow Creek Farms and Farmgate Gardens. Keep an eye out for the barn covered in birdhouses!

What’s Your Scoop?

A hot summer day serves a large scoop (or three) of ice cream. Pop by the barn-turned-ice-cream-stand for some Kawartha Dairy, with 23 flavours from Banana Boat to Wolf Paws.

2290 Frankford Road, Frankford

Quinte Hills Golf Course

The great views of the surrounding countryside is what sets this course apart. With 9 challenging regulation holes and another 9 on the executive course, you can mix and match for your perfect afternoon.

63 Holland Road, Frankford

Dimitri’s Pizzeria & Restaurant

Call ahead and order a few pies for takeout. On a sunny day, we’re always game for a picnic at the Frankford Tourist Park just across the river. Did we mention the sandy beach?

22 Trent Street South, Frankford
