Local restaurants are finding ways to serve up our favourite sips and eats with new rules and restrictions around social distancing and cleaning.
Things may look a little different this summer, but here are a few things to keep in mind for a safer and enjoyable experience:
- Be patient with staff — this is new for everyone!
- Practice physical distancing (6 feet or 2 metres) from anyone outside your household/social bubble
- Wash your hands, avoid touching your face
- BYO hand sanitizer/wipes, non-medical mask and gloves if desired
- Some places may require reservations
- Stay home if you aren’t feeling 100%
- Check out HPE Public Health for more on safety and prevention
- Note: As of July 10, masks will be mandatory in all indoor commercial spaces
We’ll continue adding to this list as more businesses open; for the most up-to-date info, reach out to restaurants directly.
