Gallery 121 Late Summer Show

Gallery 121 48 Bridge Street East, Belleville, Ontario

Our late summer show at Gallery 121 starts Tuesday, August 30th and runs until Saturday October 8th.  Our Guest Artist is the very talented and award winning pastel artist, Susan Typert, who uses pastels to capture the energy and essence of a range of subjects. August 30 – October 8, 2022 The show features Guest Artist Susan Typert and Member Artists


Belleville Jazz Festival

Belleville Downtown District Front Street, Belleville

It’s time to bust a move, Belleville, and put some sizzle in your summer. The sounds of New Orleans, New York, and Havana are coming to you this Labour Day Weekend when our Downtown District hosts its first Jazz Festival from September 2 through 4. During the event, part of Front Street will be transformed into a pedestrian walkway with a variety of musicians performing “al fresco”. Other performers will grace the Bernice Parrott Stage behind City Hall, The Belleville Club, and the Parrott Gallery upstairs at the Belleville Public Library. In addition, several downtown restaurants including Capers and Dinkels will offer live jazz performances during their dinner hours. How tasty is that? Aside from the opening night performance with Jane Bennett, the festival is free! Check out the full schedule of events on the website linked below.

Recurring Event Quinte West Concerts in the Park

Quinte West Concerts in the Park

Sunday, July 3rd to Sunday, September 4th Concerts run Sundays, Wednesdays and Fridays (Friday - DBIA SERIES) from 6 pm - 8 pm. Sunday & Friday concerts take place in Fraser Park, at the Ted Snider Bandshell, and the Wednesday evening concerts take place at the Frankford Tourist Park. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket as chairs are not provided.

An Evening with Jane Bunnett & Friends - Opening Night of the Belleville Downtown Jazz Festival @ The Belleville Club Jane is one of Canada’s most recognizable name in Jazz. She is a bandleader, multi-instrumentalist, composer and five-time Juno Award winner, who has turned her bands and recordings into showcases for the finest musical talent from Canada, the US, and Cuba. In addition, Jane has been nominated for three Grammy Awards, received The Order of Canada, The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal, an honorary doctorate from Queens U and, most recently, The Premier’s Award for Excellence. An internationally acclaimed musician, Bunnett is known for her creative integrity, improvisational daring, and courageous artistry. Her exploration of Afro-Cuban melodies expresses the universality of music, and her ability to embrace and showcase the rhythms and culture of Cuba has been ground-breaking. She has toured the world bringing her own special sound to numerous jazz festivals, displaying her versatility as a flutist, saxophone player, and pianist.
