Recurring Event Event Series: Shout Sister Choir!

Shout Sister Choir!

November 5, 2019 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm EDT

Shout Sister! Choir Belleville is welcoming new members.

Emmanuel Baptist Church
68 Rollins Drive, Belleville

Tuesday evenings
September – June
7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

Belleville’s Shout Sister! Choir is welcoming new members.

There are 25 Chapters of Shout Sister! Choir in Ontario and we are quickly growing. Shout Sister! is an all-inclusive women’s choir. We take an unorthodox approach to choral singing. We do not audition and we sing a fun variety of music from pop and Motown, to folk, to a touch of country and blues. We learn from recorded tracks so we require no reading of music. Our method is fresh and fun and we are a warm and welcoming community.

Margie Bailey Phieffer directs the Belleville chapter. Margie resides north of Belleville and is a passionate supporter of the arts.

The first choir was started by Georgette Fry in Kingston in 2002. She opened chapters in Brockville and Picton in 2006 and the Shout Sister! dream began to take shape. We currently have 25 Chapters in Ontario under the direction of 14 Directors.

You are welcome to attend a practice with no obligation and new members are welcome at any time. Please visit our website at www.shoutsisterchoir.ca for more information or email [email protected] if you have any questions.
