Richard Turtle – Stories on the Patio

June 26 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm EDT

We have a special presentation for our Friday night story telling series. Local playwright Richard Turtle shares his thoughts along with some source material from his latest work in progress, Based on a True Story, a series of vignettes from his father’s early naval career. The potential script was inspired by the writings and journal entries of a man who would later become one of the youngest submarine captains in the history of the Royal Navy. Lionel (Larry) Turtle retired from his first career after reaching the rank of Lieutenant Commander and went on to become a father, a Canadian citizen and a corporate executive before retiring a second time shortly before his death in 1992.

Be sure to make a reservation and let us know how many people will share your table.  Bring your mask (or we can provide one) and take care to practice social distancing.

Our patio will be open at 5 pm for wood-fired pizza and the bar.  See you Friday!
