Quinte West Virtual Canada Day

July 1 @ 8:00 am - July 3 @ 11:59 pm EDT

| Free

Unfortunately, we have had to cancel our regular ‘live event’ Canada Day celebrations, as so many others have, but we wanted to offer a fun, interactive way for our community to still celebrate Canada Day and come together somehow.

We have partnered with X-Events to offer a roughly 3-hour program. Included in the programming are interactive dance parties, Canadian themed art project, trivia and sing-a-longs, a Justin Biebertail (Beavertail) cooking demonstration, and a Tik Tok dance party.

In addition, we’ve added some messages from a few familiar faces. The Quinte West Mayor – Jim Harrison, Committee Chair Harm Zylstra, QW Fire Dept., Burger Revolution, Wild Card Brewing Co, Ivan Demine of Cassio Believe will all make appearances.

The link will go live 8 am on July 1st and be active until 11:59 pm on July 3rd and can be accessed at any time during this period via the City of Quinte West website & Facebook page.

Check the City website and Facebook page for more information, and for a list of ingredients and art supplies if you want to cook or create along with the demonstration.
