Synopsis: The power of belief, the coercion of community, the desire to break free are all captured in this arresting film. The actions of a 17-year old girl will draw unwanted attention in a Christian community placed in Kentucky. She’s trying to figure out who she is. The return of a youth pastor missionary will combine with near constant shaming and judgement to propel the community into turmoil over religion and sexuality, patriarchy and power.
