This is a time of great change and hardship in communities across our nation. Strict policies and regulations have been introduced in order to protect the lives and welfare of all citizens, particularly, those who are most vulnerable. Due to these regulations, the economy has essentially been in lock-down. The impacts of this resulting in mass job loss and fear for what may be an exceptionally long road to economic stability.
While everyone is trying to cope in a state of our constantly changing climate, mental health professionals are raising the red flag on not only the effects that isolation is having during COVID-19 but also the direct correlation between the economic impacts and mental health.
