Everyday Heroes and Veterans – Wellness Weekends

October 15 @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm EDT

On Saturday October 15th join us for a presentation & meet and greet with Veterans and Everyday Heroes (V-EH!) for our second Weekend Wellness Program.

V-EH! is a not-for-profit organization, acting as a conduit for the collective kindness of your community; providing acts of kindness to veterans and first responders.

“Greenish Blue – And OSI Story”
This OSI story follows a naïve Northern Ontario boy and his service dog. A recount of over two decades of concurrent service as PRes member and civilian police officer, and how he let the world consume him.
Police Sergeant Andrew Gough CD, is an awarded Mental Health Advocate, having won “Champion of Change” awards from both CMHA and Canada Beyond the Blue.

Lieutenant Gough, CFR’d nearly 4 years ago and remains an active reservist as a Platoon Commander. Mr. Gough was 1 of 17 CAF members on the ground for the 2014 Embassy evacuation in Tripoli, Libya. Andrew speaks of duty, relationships, service, family and growth post OSI diagnosis.

Learn more about the incredible work Andrew and his team do by visiting them online at www.v-eh.ca.
