The Quinte Arts Council’s EXPRESSIONS biennial juried show + sale features artists and artisans from throughout the Quinte region and is open to both members and non-members of the QAC. We welcome entries from artists working in any and all media, including potters, weavers, glassblowers, quilters, painters, photographers, woodworkers, carvers, sculptors, jewellers, metal workers, textile artists, folk artists, mixed media arts, and more.

The theme for 2021 is “Re-Imagine.”

Jurors for this year are visual artist Valerie Kent (Cavan, Ont.) and ceramic artist and potter Bill Reddick (Peterborough, Ont.)

Prize categories include:
Juror’s choice (2 awards): $300 cash award
Craft Ontario Community Award (1 award): $200 cash award, plus one year membership to Craft Ontario
People’s Choice (1 award): $150 gift certificate to Barratt’s Office Pro

Art drop off: May 1
Show dates at the J.M. Parrott Gallery: May 6 to June 3
