It’s never too early to start thinking about the holiday season! The City of Belleville’s Lighting Display Committee will be hosting a special Festival of Lights fundraising event in Market Square on Saturday, Aug. 5. There will even be a special guest appearance from Santa and Mrs. Claus who will be in town for their summer holiday in Belleville! All funds raised during the event will go towards the Festival of Lights to purchase new displays and refurbishing existing displays. Residents are encouraged to join them from 10 a.m. to noon for:

– Live music
– Face painting
– Holiday-themed activities
– Letter to Santa writing station and mailbox
– Small lighting display(s)
– Selfie station
– Giveaways and more
