2022 Mohawk Landing

May 22 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm EDT

Join the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte as we celebrate the Mohawks that landed on the Bay of Quinte in 1784.

Schedule for the day:

10:00 a.m. – Arrival of canoes (353 Bayshore Road)

10:15 a.m. – Traditional Opening, Tobacco offering

10:30 a.m. – Welcome, Chief R. Donald Maracle

10:45 a.m. – Laying of Wreath, Veterans
Act of remembrance and prayer, Pastor David Bowbeer

10:50 a.m. – Closing at Landing site
Reverends Lisa and Rod BrantFrancis

11:00 a.m. – Enjoy a leisurely walk on the trail to see the Cairn and Christ Church (52 South Church Lane)

11:15 a.m. – Service at churches

12:30 p.m. – Luncheon, Lacrosse Box (1900 York Road)

1:30 p.m. – Speeches

3:00 p.m. – Traditional Closing
