We are home to the National Air Force Museum of Canada where countless volunteer hours spent restoring a WWII aircraft are on display keeping history alive for future generations. The Landing of Mohawks at Tyendinaga marks the first Loyalists on the Bay of Quinte, commemmorated annually on the Sunday nearest May 22 with a church service at the altar of the up-turned canoe. The deliberate and mindful approach of handmade craftsmanship happens throughout our region stemming from traditions learned and often rediscovered.
Bay of Quinte Region is an alliance of interdependent communities, bound together by a common history, shared economy, and the water that surrounds and defines us. We hope to welcome you soon.
