KING EDWARD PARK

—75 Elizabeth St, Brighton

King Edward Park in Brighton is a go-to for families, especially in summer. The splash pad runs daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (Victoria Day to Labour Day) and sits beside a shaded picnic pavilion and playground. The park also offers tennis, pickleball, ball diamonds, and a skate park—plenty to keep kids busy and parents relaxed.

CENTENNIAL PARK

—12 Couch Crescent, Quinte West

Centennial Park in Quinte West is a family favorite, especially during the summer months. The Wilf Wilkinson Rotary Splash Pad operates daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., offering a refreshing spot for kids to cool off. Adjacent to the splash pad, you’ll find a playground featuring a dinosaur climbing structure and a ship-themed play area. The park also boasts a skate park, sports fields, and a scenic waterfront trail along the Bay of Quinte. Free parking is available throughout the park, and accessible washrooms are open daily from May 1 to Thanksgiving Day.

FRANKFORD SPLASH PAD

—358 Riverside Pkwy, Frankford

Frankford Splash Pad is a popular spot for families during the summer months. The splash pad operates daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing a refreshing escape for kids to cool off. Situated within Frankford Tourist Park, the area also offers a playground, picnic spots, and access to the Trent-Severn Waterway, making it an ideal location for a full day of family fun.

PARKDALE VETERAN'S PARK

—567 County Rd 30, Belleville

Parkdale Veteran’s Park in Belleville is home to the Selma Bochnek Splash Pad, open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (May to Labour Day, weekends through Thanksgiving). The park also has a playground, baseball diamond, and the accessible Quinte Field of Ability—perfect for a fun, inclusive family outing.

WEST ZWICK'S ISLAND PARK - BELLEVILLE

—10 Bay Bridge Rd, Belleville

West Zwick’s Island Park in Belleville has a splash pad tucked near the playground and picnic areas—ideal for cooling off mid-adventure. Open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (May to Labour Day, weekends through Thanksgiving), it’s part of a bigger park experience that includes trails, open space, and plenty of places to lounge or snack riverside.

KINSMEN SPLASH PAD

—151 Dundas St E, Belleville

Kinsmen Splash Pad in Belleville is a vibrant spot for families, open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. (May to Labour Day, weekends through Thanksgiving). The park also offers a playground, outdoor pool, and picnic areas, making it a great destination for a fun-filled day.

ROTARY SPLASH PAD AND PARK

—38 Pearl St, Greater Napanee

Rotary Park Splash Pad in Greater Napanee is a family-friendly spot open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. during the summer months. Located at 10 Pearl Street, the splash pad is activated by a button behind a large flower feature. Nearby, you’ll find an accessible playground, picnic areas, and walking paths connecting to the public library and Conservation Park. Free parking is available on-site.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
