No really. You may have not have even heard of ‘Quinte’ before, but you will know some of the cities and towns that are part of us: Belleville, Quinte West, Prince Edward County, Brighton, Stirling, Tyendinaga, Napanee, and Deseronto make up the Quinte Region.
The Quinte Region is an absolute gem, with great beauty, affordable housing, over 1200 km of waterfront, great community pride, and character unique in its own right.
Its location is unique, directly between Toronto, Montreal, and Ottawa, it is an easy trip into New York State, USA, as well as only 1 ½ hours from Toronto’s downtown.
A new VIA Rail station in Belleville, makes travel in and out of the region a breeze, as well as directly on the 401.
The region is open for business, with several major employers in the area including Kelloggs, CFB Trenton, Proctor and Gamble, Nestle, vast agricultural and tourism industries, and many government and commercial services.
There are an abundance of new homes in many desired neighbourhoods, with many new build neighbourhoods available throughout the region. There are in all, about 30 unique community neighbourhoods within the region, from city, to suburban, to country landscapes, you will find the dream home you are looking for. And the housing is affordable, with prices well below the provincial averages.
Education, healthcare, and all the amenities you need are first class in the region. Quinte boasts three major hospitals, over 20 schools, and Loyalist College. There are 9 downtowns for shopping (and living), with a major mall in Belleville. Albert College is one of Canada’s foremost private schools, and resides in Belleville.
If you hate cheese, chocolate, fishing, wine, and great beaches, then this isn’t the area for you (of course I have yet to meet someone who does). We are a tourism mecca, with a backyard that is becoming internationally known.
We are Canada’s cheddar and ale centre, with world class walleye fishing, home to the best fresh-water beaches in Canada, great boating, golf, arts and entertainment, chocolate, Prince Edward County wine, theatre, and so much more!
Come live with us! You will find that the community, region, people, waterfront, and landscapes will easily make Bay of Quinte your home.
