Jobs

The Bay of Quinte region is home to Canada’s largest air force base, which is one of our area’s highest employers. Belleville is in the centre for South Eastern Ontario for manufacturing, distribution, and transportation, and the area is an active and supportive hub for entrepreneurs in all industries. It’s also an area rich in entrepreneurialism with a healthy and growing group of young innovative business owners.

Conveniently located on HWY 401 less than two hours to Toronto and three hours to Ottawa and Montreal with close access to the United States border, the Bay of Quinte is a prime location for business in all sectors.

Visit Quinte Jobs for employment opportunities that would inspire you to move to the region.

EMPLOYMENT IN THE BAY OF QUINTE

The Quinte Economic Development Commission

(QEDC) is dedicated to the promotion of economic growth in its member municipalities, specifically the City of Belleville, the Municipality of Brighton and the City of Quinte West. The Mission of the QEDC is two-fold: 1) To encourage the growth and diversification of those industries and commercial businesses now established in the area; and 2) To market the Bay of Quinte Region in order to attract new industry-targeted firms to locate in the community. The QEDC is co-located with 8 other agencies in the Quinte Business Development Centre facility in the Pioneer building at Loyalist College.
