Author: QuinteVation

QuinteVation was created in 2016 – a non-profit, entrepreneur-led organization, building on the foundation of grass-root entrepreneurial development and renewed discussions that were being held across the region in private and public boardrooms and at kitchen tables. First through the Bay of Quinte Tourist Council, then Living, a regional approach has proven to be incredibly rewarding for the Bay of Quinte. These organizations worked as a collective to advance the public and private sector efforts to promote the Bay of Quinte region as a destination of choice through economic growth and developing collaborative opportunities for rural Ontario. These initiatives have been combined in the new Bay of Quinte Marketing Board. QuinteVation will leverage their regional focus to bring the same type of success to entrepreneurial endeavours. A strong regional economy requires a collaborative approach. QuinteVation, as a non-government organization, is implementing a collaborative, grass-root, regionally focused innovation plan. QuinteVation is actively engaging the entire stack of actors, beginning with local entrepreneurs, in order to deliver on its purpose of facilitating innovation and growth by entrepreneurs accelerating the growth in the Bay of Quinte Region. The Bay of Quinte will be the most dynamic rural innovative region in Canada by 2023.
