Join us at the beautiful Smokin' 116 Bistro for a fun and social evening of speed dating! You'll be meeting at least 15 dates at our event!
How speed dating works is that you will meet members of the opposite sex for quick 4 minute dates, and then you will give them a yes or a no. They will then do the same thing for you. If there is a mutual match, contact information will be exchanged the next day.
We will give you all needed materials, and explain the process to you once everyone has arrived. You don't need to bring anything, just come dressed for success!
This event is for people aged 35-45.

Join us for live music with Toby Farrell, a Belleville based singer, songwriter, and actor. With roots in rock, R&B, and folk music, he performs at venues throughout the region and has been very fortunate to collaborate with a number of the incredibly talented artists in Belleville. Most recently, he appeared in the Belleville Theatre Guild’s production of the Sound of Music.
Join us for live music with Casey and Ashley Garlick who together make up the acoustic duo Sidetracked. Together they create a musical time machine of acoustic covers with uncanny harmonies, unsolicited wit, and the usual search for the obvious all to the tune of great music, big laughs, and a night to remember.
Fun fact: They have the same last name but aren’t related, even though sometimes people think they might be.

Join us for live music with Meaghan Love, a local musician who has cultivated an impressive acoustic solo show, as well as fronting local band, The Chachkies. With her acoustic guitar showcasing her powerful vocals, Meaghan has played to patrons of various establishments in and around the Quinte area for the past 15 years. She focuses on “acoustic music for all occasions”—music that is uplifting and fun for all types of occasions, venues and audiences.
Join us for live music with Chris Gostling, a man who has been storytelling through songs for nearly 30 years. A multi-instrumentalist based in Eastern Ontario, his singer / songwriter’s style pays homage to folk, roots-rock and Americana veins while remaining a unique sonic offering.
October 4th, Gostling released his sophomore full length album, “Forest City Town Country”. Recorded on Wolfe Island in Kingston, with the musical support of Hugh Christopher Brown, Jason Mercer, Liam Cole and Craig “Rocky” Roberts, the album sonically crosses genres from indie-folk through alt-country soulfulness and beyond.
The premier of singles “Michigan Nights” and “Bleed” were featured on Canada Beats, Tinnitus, SiriusXM / Canada Now, Radio Crystal Blue, CJSR (Edmonton), CFMU (Hamilton), CHRW (London), 91.7FM, CFRC (Kingston) & COVE FM (Nova Scotia)

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement
The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities.
We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.
This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.
This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.
We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
