DESCRIPTION:Belleville’s annual Canada Day celebrations are back with all your favourite attractions and more this July 1! \nThe festivities begin at West Zwick’s Park starting at 9:30 a.m. with the Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast under the Tom Gavey Pavillion. \nEntertainment will start at 11 a.m. with all kinds of free shows and attractions including a hula hoop fun zone\, stilt walkers\, the Hot Diggity Dogs show\, carriage rides\, face painting\, balloon twisting\, an inflatable village and more. \nAndy Forgie will kick off the musical performances under the Lions’ Pavillion on the Quinte Broadcasting Main Stage at 11 a.m.\, followed by local bands the Bees Knees and Elmwood Harmony. Kingston’s Tiny Horse and Eddy and the Dirty Boys will finish the night off on the Main Stage\, then Belleville’s Déjà vu Entertainment will DJ in the crowd for the spectacular fireworks display at dusk. \nFood for this year’s event will feature vendors 2-4-1 Pizza\, Burger Revolution\, Duffer’s Chip Wagon\, Gator’s Fries\, Pink Funnel\, Squeezy’s Lemonade and more. Your senses will be heightened as you walk the dunes. You will learn to slowdown. Meditate on this great expanse and the incredible freedom it offers you.\nI needed to express this in paint. To make simple strong marks and lay them on the dunes\, to strengthen their attachment and capture this desert time\, this special place. These are the marks\, my canvases from the Sahara\, the dunes and tents. Each one is imbued with a special love\, always.\nIn Morocco\, I am returned to a simple\, timeless\, sensual beauty in a deeply rich culture\, revealed in a very\, very\, slow way\, through weather worn Amazigh\, Berber artifacts\, stories\, music and ritual. I want to hold on to the colours\, scents\, textures\, and rhythm of life\, so unlike my own. DESCRIPTION:EARLY SUMMER SHOW – GALLERY 121 – JUNE 3RD TILL JULY 12TH\, 2025 \nPlease join the members at Gallery 121 as they present their delightful Early Summer Show. Our Guest Artists are Liz Schell and Carolyn Huff-Winters. Both are award winners in their chosen mediums. Liz’s handmade decorative dolls and tables will brighten the gallery with a colourful pop and sense of nostalgia while Corolyn’s charcoal and mixed media art will intrigue and charm you. The Featured Member Artist\, Maureen Swann\, will capture your imagination with her found objects sculptures and paintings.\nPlease join these artists and member artists at our reception being held Saturday June 7th between 2 and 4 p.m. for refreshments.

DESCRIPTION:This summer\, get up close and step inside some of Canada’s most iconic military aircraft during Flight Deck Fridays at the National Air Force Museum of Canada! \nEvery Friday from July 4 through August\, we’re unlocking the cockpits and opening the doors to a rotating lineup of iconic Canadian military aircraft in the RCAF Memorial Airpark.
