SUMMARY:Night Kitchen Too
DESCRIPTION:NIGHT KITCHEN TOO has provided a showcase for a diverse group of performers from the Quinte Region for 11 years. They present their music\, poetry or spoken word on the stage at the Pinnacle Playhouse in the downtown core. NKT is a not-for-profit project that raises funds for the Belleville Theatre Guild from concert admissions that are also distributed amongst the performers. NKT’s live shows usually features 12 performers\, and one featured artist. Nathan Mahaffy and Alexandra Bell\, also known as Rubbin’ Elbows co-host the events that are produced by Gary Magwood\, Marvin Tucker\, Alexandra Bell\, Nathan Mahaffy and Colin Mills. DESCRIPTION:Join us for a stroll along Bridge Street and its cross-streets to view the many magnificent mansions built in this leafy area in the late 19th century. The commentary will include both architectural notes and stories about some of each house’s inhabitants through the years. This is a fundraiser for the HASPE Digitizing Project\, presented by the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario (PEC branch) and the HASPE Project Committee. Classes run simultaneously but in different areas of the gallery. \nThe 6-9 age range we work on exploring all different mediums and developing their fine motor skills. We identify that art isn’t perfect and finding beauty in their work building their confidence to continue. \nThe 10-14 age range we work on technique and patience\, advancing skills into a confidence that will allow them to ‘trust the process’ of creating art\, setting them up for success in creating their own style and expression with art.

Suspended from ceiling to floor\, these colourful\, textile-based works reflect not only artistic skill but also the strength of community connection. \nExhibition runs May 9–29\nExperience the creativity and collaboration that has brought this unique project to life—everyone is welcome. \nWe look forward to celebrating with you!
