DESCRIPTION:The Community Trees bare-root seedling giveaway is back on May 3 in Market Square behind City Hall (169 Front St.) starting at 9 a.m. Residents can select from a variety of native tree and shrub species including: \n• Alleghany Serviceberry\n• Black Cherry\n• Bur Oak\n• Button Bush\n• Chokecherry\n• Eastern White Pine\n• Eastern White Cedar\n• Nannyberry\n• Paper Birch\n• Red Maple\n• Red Pine\n• Silver Maple\n• Tamarack\n• White Spruce \nAs these seedlings are in limited quantities\, residents may pick up to five seedlings per household and no more than three of the same species. The event will run as long as quantities last however\, supplies are expected to go quickly\, so residents are encouraged to get there early.

We identify that art isn’t perfect and finding beauty in their work building their confidence to continue. \nThe 10-14 age range we work on technique and patience\, advancing skills into a confidence that will allow them to ‘trust the process’ of creating art\, setting them up for success in creating their own style and expression with art.
