    With Mixed Media Collage Artist Brandy Calvert Ringelmann
    All-Day Workshop | All Materials Included

    Join us for a creative, hands-on day of collage with renowned mixed media artist Brandy Calvert Ringelmann. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll learn the foundational techniques of collage using magazine imagery and ink on a 24x24” wood panel.

    Throughout the day, Brandy will guide you through the process of building a vibrant, floral-themed collage—layer by layer—while sharing tips on composition, texture, and using ink to enhance your work. No prior experience is necessary—just bring your curiosity and creativity!

    What’s Included:
    ✔ All collage materials (including panel, magazines, and ink)
    ✔ Step-by-step instruction from a professional artist
    ✔ A nourishing lunch of homemade soup with marbled rye toast, plus cake for dessert

    The Front Street Farmers’ Market is beautifully nestled along the Trent-Severn Waterway at 67 Front St., in downtown Trenton. Visitors can find a wide variety of artisanal and produce vendors with products ranging from fruits, veggies, crafts to baked goods and more.

    Market hours are 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. every Saturday from Victoria Day weekend to Thanksgiving weekend.

    Beginner Barn Quilt Workshop

    Our Beginner Barn Quilt Workshops Are Back! Book yourself and your friends for a fun filled day of creating your very own Barn Quilt 34x34"

    Choose one of four Barn Quilt Designs, and you choose the colours to match your decor. Install it on your barn, shed, fence, above your garage or even inside your home. We are responsible for over 300 individualized barn quilts in the Quinte area and even as far as Ottawa and London with the workshops we host.
    You will go home with a 34" x 34" Birch Panel Barn Quilt. All Materials and Instructions are included. Lunch and afternoon dessert is provided. Please call the gallery 2 days or more in advance with any special dietary needs. Wine and beer available for an additional cost.
    All you have to do is wear your paint clothes. Bring a friend or meet one at the Workshop.

    Rug Hooking Workshop

    You were mesmerized by Wanda Elliott's Fibre Art Exhibit for the month of April and now you can take her Rug Hooking workshop. You will spend 2 hours with the talented Wanda Elliott learning how to rug hook a 6x6" framed 'Bee' or 'Lighthouse' piece. You will get well on your way with the project, and take home the rest home to finish at your own leisure. This workshops is ideal for beginners and experienced 'hookers'.

    Choose the complete kit (Beginners) or materials without hook option (experienced hookers who have their own hook and primitive frame). Attendees should bring their own scissors.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
