His pieces are unique in style\, minimalistic\, intriguing\, inviting and fired with hand made glazes. These pieces may be found in some of the most prestigious museums and galleries in North America. \nThe realism and luminosity found in Barb McGuey’s oil paintings is spell binding. Barb’s focus is on the natural world through landscapes\, flowers and animals. \nThe Featured Member Artist for this show is Terry Hart. Terry uses natural beeswax that has been heated and applied to a board where it is fused\, carved\, and coaxed into landscapes\, abstracts and city/rural scenes. \nPlease join us for refreshments and meet that Artists at a reception on Saturday Oct. 18th from 2-4 p.m.

SUMMARY:Heritage Walk - Belleville's Charming Old East Hill
DESCRIPTION:Following the success of the two previous walks\, join us at 2:30 on Saturday\, October 18\, for another stroll along Bridge Street and its cross-streets to view some more magnificent mansions built in this leafy area in the late 19th century. The commentary will include both architectural notes and stories about some of each house’s inhabitants through the years. \nIn Part 3\, we will meet at the corner of Queen Street and George Street (parking is possible on either street) and take in George Street and John Street. At the end of the walking tour (around 4 pm) attendees will be invited to a local hostelry for refreshment. \nThe Architectural Conservancy of Ontario encourages the conservation and reuse of structures\, districts and landscapes of architectural\, historic and cultural significance\, to inspire and benefit Ontarians. The local branch is the Prince Edward County branch\, and it holds many exciting events each year to inform and educate its members and the public about the built heritage in the region and its historical and architectural value. \nTickets can be bought at https://www.ticketscene.ca/events/56848/. DESCRIPTION:FALL SHOW – GALLERY 121 – OCTOBER 7TH – NOV. 15TH\, 2025\nRECEPTION SATURDAY OCT. 18TH\, 2025 \nThe members of Gallery 121 are excited to show of their new works of art alongside those of Kayo O’Young\, a famous potter and a well-known realistic\, artist from Hastings. \nKayo O’Young is recognized as one of Canada’s finest porcelain creators with his works being featured in two films. His pieces are unique in style\, minimalistic\, intriguing\, inviting and fired with hand made glazes. These pieces may be found in some of the most prestigious museums and galleries in North America. \nThe realism and luminosity found in Barb McGuey’s oil paintings is spell binding. Barb’s focus is on the natural world through landscapes\, flowers and animals. \nThe Featured Member Artist for this show is Terry Hart. Terry uses natural beeswax that has been heated and applied to a board where it is fused\, carved\, and coaxed into landscapes\, abstracts and city/rural scenes. \nPlease join us for refreshments and meet that Artists at a reception on Saturday Oct. 18th from 2-4 p.m.

DESCRIPTION:Glanmore invites you to get into the spirit of Halloween with the museum’s Family Night at the B00-seum event taking place on the evening of Friday\, Oct. 24. New to this year’s event is a sensory-friendly hour\, with smaller crowds and reduced noise and lighting from 4 to 5 p.m. The main event with timed entry admissions will then take place between 5:30 and 8:30 p.m. Don your Halloween costumes and join in an evening at Glanmore filled with family-friendly Halloween fun (no inflatable costumes or prop projectiles/weapons\, please)! \nDuring Family Night at the BOO-seum\, families can watch spooky silent films\, make a ghostly or jack-o-lantern themed craft and enjoy indoor trick-or-treating. Take in the Creepy Curiosities exhibit as you explore the historic house and be sure to check out weird and wonderful activities in the Creepy Kitchen! Family Night at the B00-seum is an all-ages event. Tickets are $12.25 for adults\, $10.25 for seniors and youth\, $8 for children ages 5-12\, and children under 5 are FREE. Advance tickets are required and can be purchased online at www.glanmore.ca.

Known for his performances of familiar favourites by The Tragically Hip\, Neil Young\, Tom Petty\, and more. With a rich background\, including leading the Kingston-based alternative rock band Enrights that supported acts like Sam Roberts Band\, Theory of a Deadman and The Trews\, Jack brings big stage experience\, stories and fun to small-town Ontario stages. He currently also plays lead guitar for the Belleville-based group\, Cat Named Earl.
