DESCRIPTION:The Tin Cup Annual is a lighthearted golf tournament for all skill levels to help underprivileged youth in Hastings\, Prince Edward\, and Northumberland counties access sports and extracurricular activities. \nInspired by the beloved ’90s golf rom-com Tin Cup\, in which roguish underdog Roy McAvoy qualifies for the U.S. Open using only his 7-iron\, the tournament format requires participants to use only one club for the entire round. \nNet proceeds will be donated to The Children’s Foundation Playing for Keeps program which subsidizes registration fees so that financial hardship isn’t a barrier for a child to participate.
