Ride for DI

The Lennox and Addington County General Hospital Foundation is excited to host the Second Annual Ride for DI, a cycling fundraiser in support of diagnostic imaging services at LACGH, on Sunday, May 25, 2025.

Ride solo, with family, or as part of a team, and enjoy a 30km scenic route, or more challenging, 50km ride, through the picturesque landscapes of Greater Napanee and Stone Mills township.

Your $50 registration fee includes:

Access to the ride
A delicious continental breakfast
Post-ride entertainment
Lunch and a beverage
Go the extra mile by fundraising! Help us reach our goal of raising $50,000 by collecting donations from family and friends to support your ride. Fundraising participants will be celebrated with a commemorative gift to mark your contribution to this important cause.

Join us as we ride to strengthen local healthcare and ensure a healthier future for our community. Together, we can make a difference and help to keep healthcare close to home!

Registration is open February 1, 2025 and will remain open until 9:30 a.m. on ride day, May 25, 2025

Itinerary:
8:30 a.m. – Registration; Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive, Napanee
9:30 a.m. – Opening remarks
10:00 a.m. – First cyclists out
11:30 a.m. – Celebration BBQ

Route:
30km

Start: Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive, Napanee. East on Bridge St. to Camden Road. Camden Road to County Road 1 East to County Road 18.

Follow County Road 18 to County Road 5 to Newburgh Rd. Left on Newburgh Road. Stop for a stretch at Hollow Square, Newburgh before continuing.

From Hollow Square, continue down Main St./Newburgh Rd. and turn left on Academy St./County Road 11. Follow along County Road 11 to County Road 16 into Strathcona to County Road 1. Right on County Road 1 back in Greater Napanee.

Once in Greater Napanee, turn left on Camden Road/Bridge St. W. and follow back to the Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive.

50km

Start: Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive, Napanee. East on Bridge St. to Camden Road. Camden Road to County Road 1 East to County Road 18.

Follow County Road 18 to County Road 5 to Newburgh Rd. Left on Newburgh Road. Stop for a stretch at Hollow Square, Newburgh before continuing.

From Hollow Square, continue down Main St./Newburgh Rd. and turn left on Academy St./County Road 11. Follow along County Road 11 to Deseronto Road. Turn south on Deseronto Road and left onto Bridge Street West and follow back to the Westdale Complex, 12 Richmond Park Drive.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
