Whether you are drawn to the rugged charm of a weathered fishing trawler or the sleek\, elegant lines of a classic sailboat\, this session will give you the tools to translate maritime subjects onto paper with confidence. \nWe begin by breaking down the anatomy of various vessels\, learning to identify key structural elements that give each boat its unique character. You will explore perspective and buoyancy\, ensuring your sketches sit naturally in the water rather than on top of it. \nThrough guided demonstrations\, we will cover essential watercolour skills including wet-on-wet reflections\, masking for crisp highlights\, and layering atmospheric washes to create depth. By the end of the day\, you will have completed a final piece that captures the spirit of the sea. All skill levels are welcome! \n
