Spencer Evans is the son of local newspaper legend Jack (and Nancy) Evans. He has been a full-time touring and recording musician for over 30 years playing shows all over the United States, Canada, and Europe from New Orleans to the North Pole, Bermuda to Bosnia. He has performed and recorded with Cowboy Junkies, Sarah Harmer, Jill Barber, the Good Lovelies, Jeff Healey, Dan Aykroyd, and countless musicians singers and songwriters from the Kingston area from which he is based. With his talented and proficient son Oscar on Bass and Trumpet, complimenting Spencer’s singing, piano and clarinet playing, this Duo performs a very wide array of classic Jazz and Blues, but being an Entertainer don’t be surprised to hear Funk Soul Reggae or any vintage Pop tune that you can think of. Growing up in the Belleville area, Spencer has fond memories of many services and choir practices at Christ Church and then going to the Dixie Lee chicken now the Local Social House.
