Creative Layers: Alcohol Ink, Stencils & Mandala Art Workshop on Canvas
with Mixed Media Artist Brandy Calvert Ringelmann & Mandala Artist Jodi Stonehouse

Join us for a two-part immersive journey into mixed media art!
Discover the vibrant interplay between fluid alcohol inks and the meditative practice of mandala painting. This collaborative workshop will guide you through the creation of a unique 12×12″ canvas artwork using dynamic techniques and intentional design in the colours of your choosing.

Part 1 – Abstract Foundations with Alcohol Ink & Stencils
Led by mixed media artist Brandy Calvert Ringelmann, this session will explore the expressive nature of alcohol inks. Learn how to manipulate the fluid medium with stencils, layering translucent washes and textures to create a luminous abstract background. Brandy will share her techniques for building depth, colour flow, and composition — setting the stage for your mandala design.

Part 2 – Mandala Design & Embellishment
Step into the world of sacred geometry with Jodi Stonehouse, as she guides you in designing and painting a mandala pattern directly onto your abstract background. Using fine dot tools, you’ll learn to map out symmetrical designs while embracing the intuitive process of mindful repetition. Jodi will share tips for adding intricate details and personal symbolism to your final piece.

Kitchen and Bar are available to order food and drink if you choose.
