We are thrilled to have three Guest Artists joining the Members of the Gallery to delight you with glass works, sculptural pieces, and multiple mediums presenting both abstract and realistic images.
Jennifer Delaney’s images are familiar to those in the Peterborough and Bethany areas. Jennifer’s “passion for art” has taken her from Graphic and Digital Design to taking the plunge into the life she feels destined for as a full -time artist. She has entitled this show “The Artist’s View”. Her vibrant works, primarily in oil, deal with both landscape and abstract.
Lois Shaw is from the Kawartha area and comes from a long line of artists. She worked as a technical draft person for many years and did works in oils, pastels, and glass firing. She refers to her works as “realism with a sense of drama.” Lois will present an array of her beautiful glass pieces at her show entitled, “The Nature of Glass”.
Michael Amar has beautified the space in Gallery 121 on several different occasions with his thought-provoking works and authored book. His sculptural pieces, sketches and paintings have been presented in galleries in the Kingston and surrounding areas, including The Parrott Gallery.
Please join Member Artists and our three Guest Artists for refreshments, at a Reception being held June 8th between 2 and 4 p.m.

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities.

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
