Please stop in during the month of May to experience this colourful and surprising ‘Artistic Vinyl’ Classic Rock Retrospective exhibit by the talented Des Rodrigues. Opening Night May 2 from 6-9pm.
Recognizing a love and talent in drawing at an early age, Des pursued post secondary education at the Ontario College of Arts. His love of music interrupted his art studies as he honed his chops as a musician and played in multiple bands throughout the 80’s. These two passions eventually combined with his growing environmentalism, led to the creation of musical artistic pieces. He creates unique, hand painted acrylic works of art, portraying musicians and bands on their original unplayable vinyl LPs. His current collection contains over 650 albums, spanning all musical genres.
