March 5 @ 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

$10.00

Join us for an Art Cafe. We will host you and your creative juices anytime between 11-4pm with mini workshops that you sign up for a la carte. Choose the projects that appeal to you and have fun creating. Bring a friend, or make a new one. Your space is your space.

We are bringing you 3 great workstations and activities. Choose between painted stone candle holders, stencil art with acrylic or zentangle poetry with repurposed books. Be sure to select tickets for all the activities you would like to create.

Stone Candle Holder/ Simple Stone

Choose either a stone tea light candle holder or a plain stone to paint with a design. We have examples to help you find your vision. All materials supplied including Posca markers to finish your stone to perfection. All materials provided.

Stencil Art

We have the stencils, paper, paint and markers for you to create your boho wall art in the colours and designs that match your decor and vibe. Only thing missing is the frames you will need to showcase your work, otherwise we provide all materials. Create multiple pieces for only $10.

Zentangle Poetry with Repurposed Books

This is a great activity that you can continue building at home or on the go. Use your zentangle poetry pages to create greeting cards, send a note, put in a frame or add to your art journal pages or mixed media collages. Choose your book, fill as much as you want with our watercolour and markers, then take your book home and continue to create. We have examples to help you find inspiration. All materials provided.

IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO AVOID THE EVENTBRITE FEES, CALL OR TEXT 613-242-5165 TO BOOK.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities.

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
