Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board reserves the right to have the final decision on which events will be posted. Please understand that our partnership includes the communities of Belleville, Brighton, Greater Napanee, the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and Quinte West. Therefore, it is possible that events outside of these communities will not be added to the calendar. Please contact us at [email protected] if you have any questions.
Community events that are promoted on the calendar must be open to the public to attend. Some examples include concerts, workshops, markets and festivals, We do not promote private yardsales or bake sales that take place at residences.
We promote events that fall within our regional partner communities of Belleville, Brighton, Greater Napanee, Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte and Quinte West. We also have seven Prince Edward County wineries that have formed a partnership with us, so you may see their events in PEC on our calendar, but we do not promote any other PEC events unless they are affiliated with an organization in one of our partner communities.
We recommend submitting your event at least 2-3 weeks in advance. This allows time for our team to approve it and have it on the calendar long enough for potential visitors to see it. We also pull events from the calendar to promote on social media and in our newsletter. The more notice we have, the more we can help spread the word!
We do our best to approve and publish all events within 2-3 business days of receiving their submission.
Occasionally, some users may get an error message when they hit “submit” after filling in their event details. Try closing the page, clearing your browser’s cookies and site data, then trying again. If that still doesn’t work, please send the event details to [email protected].
In the odd situation, it’s possible your submission did not go through. Otherwise, your event may be out of the region we can promote (see above) or not appropriate for our calendar. Please reach out to us at [email protected] to inquire further. Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board reserves the right to have the final decision on which events will be posted.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement
The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities.
We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.
This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.
This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.
We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
