WHAT WE DO BEST

If you are looking for an a la carte approach, unique meeting venues, a focus on local food and beverage, and a stage from which to disconnect and inspire maximum creativity-we are your ideal destination.

The Bay of Quinte region is located midway between Toronto and Montreal on the north shore of Lake Ontario. We have 1,200km of shoreline, 3 outstanding beaches, 23 golf courses, 33 conservation areas, world-class fishing and charters, and guided cycling tours. We are neighbours to Ontario’s second largest wine region, we host Canada’s fastest growing craft beer region and have new cutting-edge experiences that are perfect for small groups. We are leaders in outdoor activity planning and customizable itineraries that will truly enhance your meeting or team-building event.

ADVENTURE ON THE WATER

Being surrounded by water has its advantages, especially if you like to get out on it. Here in the Bay of Quinte, you can paddle standing up or sitting down. Cast a line from shore or in a boat. We have some of the best winds for sailing, too. No boat? No problem. There are charters to take care of every detail plus activities that require nothing but a swimsuit.

IT COMES NATURALLY

NATURE BASED GETAWAYS

Nature is never very far away when you are in the Bay of Quinte. It’s actually almost everywhere you look, even when you are smack dab in the middle of any downtown. Every trail, park and conservation area in the region offers up something out of the ordinary giving you a year-round opportunity to choose the path that suits your level of ability.

ENDLESS BEACHES

DAY AT THE BEACH

The world’s largest baymouth barrier dune formation is in our backyard. That means we have miles and miles of soft, white sandy beaches that some say are among the best in Canada. Most of which are located in, and therefore protected by, the Ontario Provincial Parks System and out of the reach of urban development.

NOTHING BUT FAIR(WAY)

MAY THE COURSE BE WITH YOU

The Bay of Quinte region has been a top-rated golf destination for some time now. The 23 unique courses allow for all experience levels. Play near the water by the Bay, amongst the beautiful rural landscape or in the lush forests on the cusp of the Canadian Shield. There is nothing quite like a team-building day or an après-meeting round on one of our award-winning links!

QUINTE CULINARY

EAT, DRINK AND BE MERRY

There’s an emerging restaurant scene in the Bay of Quinte that’s celebrating local food and drink and strengthening menus with ingredients sourced from farmers and producers across the region. Meat, cheese, vegetables and artisan sweets are paired with local craft beer, cider and wine to create memorable (and sometimes interactive) dining experiences.

GREAT EXPECTASTINGS

LOCAL WINE, CRAFT BEER & CIDER

Experience-based businesses are thriving here in the Bay of Quinte. Already rich in agricultural history, age-old crops are creating industries that cater to those of us who value local products made from homegrown ingredients. Over 70 wine, craft beer and cider companies dot the landscape ready for a self-guided or licensed operator tour.

COME SEE FOR YOURSELF

REQUEST A FAM

One of our greatest sales opportunities is inviting travel agents, reservation agents, tour operators, wholesalers, and group leaders to experience the Bay of Quinte for themselves. Product familiarization (FAM) tours are your chance to build knowledge and enthusiasm about your business among travel professionals who develop and sell Bay of Quinte vacations for travellers in North America.
