Gingerbread House Challenge @ Meyers Creek Brewing

There is nothing better than spending an afternoon decorating a gingerbread house while drinking beer! Join us for our 3nd Annual Grown Up Gingerbread House Decorating Challenge.

Your $25 ticket can be purchased online or in our taproom and entitles you or your team to:

One gingerbread house kit to assemble, decorate and take home.
One draft beer of your choice, to help you create your masterpiece.
A chance to win a Meyers Creek gift pack and all the bragging rights!

Contestants my bring a maximum of 2 additional decorating ingredients. Things like Shreddies, and more icing are allowed, additional gingerbread, bags of mixed candy or preassembled elements are not. Winners will be judged by contestants and customers in house at the time of the vote (you can’t vote for yourself).
We will be asking random trivia questions while you decorate, winners of these trivia challenges will receive additional decorating ingredients.
All contestants will take their creations home and agree to have their creations photographed for our social media.
If you are team decorating only one member of your team needs to sign up. Space is limited. Should presales not fill all the spots, tickets will be made available at the door until we are filled.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
