Bundle up and get ready for some holiday cheer as the community comes together for the Brighton Santa Claus Parade! This year, the parade will take place on Friday, November 15 beginning at 7:00 p.m.

The parade will start at the intersection of Alice and Dundas Street, make its way up Main Street, turn onto Maplewood Avenue through to Chapel Street, make a left onto Prince Edward Street, down Elizabeth Street (Highway 2) and returning to the Dundas Street and Terry Fox Drive intersection.

Listen to a variety of local bands playing your favourite Christmas classics and watch the magical floats built by local businesses, organizations, and service clubs.

The Canada Post carriers will be walking along the parade route collecting letters to deliver straight to Santa at the North Pole. Address your letter to Santa: Santa Claus North Pole H0H 0H0 Canada. On your envelope be sure to include your return address.

Join the Brighton community for a night of holiday magic and excitement as we welcome Santa and Mrs. Claus to downtown Brighton.

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with.

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
