The Napanee Co-operators will sponsor an event for Young Professionals aged 35 and under to build their networking skills and meet others to learn from.
The event will have a complimentary light lunch for all who pre-registered.
To attend the event, there are two options
- Option one, create a LinkedIn page and register for the event there or on EventBrite
- Option two, create your First business card and email me prior to your attendance
The event will be hosted at the The Waterfront River Pub & Terrace in the open Garden Area. Networking tips and trick handouts will be provided to level up your skills for your next event.
The person who builds the most new connections, either by adding people on LinkedIn who attend or collecting as many business cards as possible, will be showcased on the Napanee Co-operators Social pages.
The why behind the event:
Nicholas Dettinger—Networking and learning the skills to network have been critical for my career. The first event I attended had a very large paywall behind it. Attending that event was a giant accelerator to my job, and it taught me that there are many opportunities available that you can only find by building a network of peers.
It also got me out of my comfort zone. My goal with this event is for people to get their first experience networking and learn from other young professionals the challenges they have faced in their careers and overcome.
