Max Sheldrick got his start in the Windsor and Detroit comedy scenes, where he then toured the tri-state area, quickly becoming known as one of the top up and coming comics. In 2017 he moved to Toronto where he has continued to make a solid name and reputation for himself. He’s performed at the Cottage Comedy Festival, Toronto Comedy Festival, Haymaker Festival, Georgian Bay comedy festival and The Just For Laughs Toronto Festival.

Jordan Policicchio recently finished a 15-city cross Canada comedy tour with Abbas Wahab and has opened for Che Durena at New York Comedy Club. He is one of Canada’s fastest rising club regulars and features at Absolute Comedy, The Corner Comedy Club and was just added to Yuk Yuk’s Rising Stars roster. His quick-wit and relatable material make him a must-see act.

Kyle Patan is a comedian based out of Toronto. He’s done the Grindstone Comedy Festival in Edmonton, JFL Vancouver,and JFL Toronto. He regularly headlines in Ontario and beyond and hosts Battle of the Bands with Kyle and Sam, released every Sunday wherever you listen to podcasts.

The Bay of Quinte RMB Land Acknowledgement

The Bay of Quinte Regional Marketing Board is committed to acknowledging, appreciating and understanding the Indigenous peoples’ historic connection to this land and to raising awareness by building relationships in collaboration with Indigenous partners and communities. 

We recognize and acknowledge that we are living and working on the traditional territory of the Wendat, Mississauga, Anishinaabeg and Haudenosaunee which includes the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka (Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte) with whom we work in direct partnership with. 

This partnership focuses on the common goal of celebrating the region with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka who are equal partners within the organization and at the Board of Directors table contributing to the mandate and operations.

This mandate includes listening to, learning from, and collaborating with the Kenhtè:ke Kanyen’kehá:ka and actively incorporating their culture and heritage into the practice of responsible destination marketing and management of the region.

We understand that this land acknowledgement is only a small step towards the larger process of reparations and reconciliation.
