Children will learn different mediums, techniques and skills to build a foundation for understanding the creation of art, setting them well on their way to a lifetime of creating masterpieces.
Ages 6 to 14. Classes are split by age groups 6-9, 10-14, please be sure to register your child with the appropriate seat based on their age. Classes run simultaneously but in different areas of the gallery.
In the 6-9 age range, we work on exploring all different mediums and developing their fine motor skills. We identify that art isn’t perfect and finding beauty in their work builds their confidence to continue.
The 10-14 age range we work on technique and patience, advancing skills into a confidence that will allow them to ‘trust the process’ of creating art, setting them up for success in creating their own style and expression with art.
