Maguire’s Motocross Racing Series
Maguire’s Motocross Racing Series [MMRS] is a motocross racing series that offers a high level of competition on a wide variety of well prepared and maintained tracks. MMRS is owned and operated by John and Jean Maguire, owners of Muttco Mountain motocross track Events are planned for the track on Cooper Road, Madoc, on three dates this summer: June 13-14, August 21-22-23 (an MX National event) and September 5-6.
Their goal is to provide a safe riding experience to riders of all ages and abilities, in a fun, family atmosphere. They offer a full day of practice on most Saturdays before race day on Sunday. For more on MMRS, visit their website.
Power Boating Canada Bay of Quinte Poker Run Rendezvous
Belleville is getting ready to once again host the annual Power Boating Canada Bay of Quinte Poker Run Rendezvous July 24 – 26.
This weekend extravaganza takes place on the beautiful waters of the Bay of Quinte, with the boats starting from, and returning to the docks at Meyers Pier.
The Poker Run includes stops in Deseronto and Picton Harbour, and a lunch stop at the new Trent Port Marina in Trenton before returning to home port in Belleville. Catch the action and thrill to the spectacular sight of the boats in full flight as they pass Meyers Pier at 2:30 p.m.
Bill Taylor of Power Boating Canada invites all boaters to participate in this year’s event – “Boats of all makes, sizes and speeds are welcome to attend, even personal watercraft – thus creating a fun-filled weekend on the water, meant for the whole family to enjoy”.
The boats will be launched and moored Friday afternoon, July 24 at the all-new Crate’s Marina in Belleville. The general public is invited to view the boats and meet the drivers on Saturday morning at Meyer’s Pier. Sound exciting? There’s more… get your ride of a lifetime on a 47′ powerboat with two 1200 hp motors Sunday at 12, benefiting the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
Shannonville Motorsport Park
Shannonville Motorsport Park is one of the world’s most versatile and safest motorsport parks.

Wheels on the Bay
Wheels on the Bay is scheduled for July 24-26 at Centennial Park, Trenton.
Canada’s Premier Car, Truck and Bike show is situated on the shores of the scenic Bay of Quinte. Centennial Park is right on the water’s edge in a park like setting, located in the “hub” of Trenton,.
This three day show takes place July 24 – 26, 2015, with events planned all weekend long. There are awards, prizes, cash prizes, and goodie bags for first 1000 registrants. Watch for special guest appearances. There is a burnout pit presented by LaFarge and hosted by Arm Drop Drag Racing, a Rev-UP competition hosted by The Run Aways Car Club, & a poker run (apples, chocolates and wineries).
This year’s special guests are Jimmy Shine of So-Cal Speed Shop and the show Car Warriors as seen on the Speed Channel, and, Steve Darnell of Welderup from Vegas Rat Rods as seen on the Discovery Channel.
As well as these bigger events there are regular cruise nights. Many local communities have weekly Show-and-Shines/Cruise Nights in public parking lots throughout the Bay of Quinte area.
