We’ve challenged Chef Scott Royce of in PEC along with Chef Nelson Bridger of Batawa Ski Hill Grill in Batawa to come up with a locally sourced meal, but there’s a catch: they’ll have to source the ingredients within the Bay of Quinte Region… in the dead of winter. These troopers will trek around the region and show you where to find local tastes even when you’re feeling like your tastebuds have been frozen off. They’ll head to Vicki’s Veggies, Grills Orchards, Long Dog Winery and the year-round Belleville Farmers Market to dig up comfort food ingredients you’ll be warming up to in no time.
